Big Bad BeetleBorgs é um série americana adaptada de seriados japoneses e produzida pela Saban. Na cidade Charterville três crianças entram numa casa mal assombrada habitada por monstros de verdade. Quando elas acidentalmente esbarram num tubo e liberam Flabber, que fica agradecido e diz que irá realizar um desejo deles. Eles querem se tornar os heróis dos quadrinhos BeetleBorgs. Então Flabber realiza o desejo, mas isso também trás os vilões dos quadrinhos que querem acabar com os BeetleBorgs.

Os vilões roubam a foto de um novo vilão, Nukus, e o trazem para vida. Nukus se livra dos outros vilões e destrói os poderes dos BeetleBorgs. Flabber então transforma as crianças em BeetleBorgs Metallix.

Andrew (Drew)
É o BeetleBorg azul e depois o dourado. É o líder do grupo e Flabber lhe deu o poder de mover objetos.

Roland
É o BeetleBorg verde e depois o prata. Flabber lhe deu o poder de correr super rápido. Seus pais tem uma loja de revistas em quadrinho.

Josephine (Jo)
É o BeetleBorg vermelho e depois roxo. Flabber lhe deu o poder de ser incrivelmente forte.

Flabber
É um fantasma de plasma e é amigo e mentor dos BeetleBorgs. Seus feitiços nunca saem como o esperado, apesar de no final tudo acabar dando certo.

Monstros

A casa mal assombrada é habitada pelos monstros: Frankenbeans, Count Fangula (vampiro), Wolfgang (lobizomem), que ajudam os BeetleBorgs.

Magnavores
São os vilões da primeira temporada, composto por: Vexor, Tifo, Nóxicos e Jara.

Crustaceans

São os vilões da segunda temporada: Nukus, Horribelle e Vilor.
