Inicialmente o desenho séria "O Mágio Mundo de Bobby". Ele foi criado por Howie Mandel, que também aparece como humano no inicio e no final de cada episódio interagindo com Bobby. O pai de Bobby é a versão em desenho animado de Howie.

O Fantástico Mundo de Bobby conta a história de Bobby, um garoto com grande imaginação. Ele mora com sua mãe, seu pai, sua irmã mais velha e seu irmão do meio. Bobby adora o seu tio Ted, mas não gosta muito de visitar a sua tia Ruth.



Bobby
É o personagem principal. Um garoto que está sempre vivendo num mundo paralelo criado pela sua imaginação. Ele adora o seu triciclo e a sua aranha de pelúcia (Weebbly), além do cachorro Roger.

Howard e Martha
São os país de Bobby.


 Kelly e Derek
São os irmãos mais velhos de Bobby. Kelly é a mais velha de todos e é uma típica adolescente. Derek adora implicar com o irmão mais novo Bobby.



Tio Ted
É irmão de Martha e tio de Bobby. Ela adora dar cafuné no Bobby e colecionar todo o tipo de coisa.
